Change Is In The Air

I feel the need to change. I need to change what I am doing with my life.

I am proud of the fact that I have a degree in Design from UC Davis, but I was posed a question this last week that I cannot get out of my head: What are you doing with it?

Being around my boyfriend’s friends, most of whom have no education beyond high school, makes em feel that as they are trying to work harder and better themselves I am only squandering what I have worked so hard to attain. This is where my idea to find a marketing position comes in. I am beginning to think that rather than a design position I should look for a marketing assistant type position. I have experience here. My background in design will help me better understand the limitations in which I must work to meet my client’s needs. And it will put me in a position to work my way up and eventually be a creative director.
